Sparta Community Hospital announced recently that its Emergency Department and Quality Healthcare Clinics, Bradbury Rural Health Clinic, Sparta Medical Office, Family Health Centre, North Campus Healthcare Clinic, Steeleville Clinic, Coulterville Medical Clinic and Marissa Medical Clinic, have all been certified through the Center for Disease Control Prevention for successfully implementing the four Core Elements of Outpatient Antibiotics Stewardship.
This certification, awarded by Telligen, is part of the Outpatient Antibiotic Stewardship. Not only did Sparta Community Hospital and Quality Healthcare Clinics earn their certifications, but were also listed on Telligen’s Honor Roll.
Telligen brings together healthcare providers and communities to improve healthcare quality for Medicare beneficiaries in Colorado, Illinois and Iowa as a Quality Innovation Network-Quality Improvement Organization (QIN-QIO) for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
