David Dickinson, DPM, longtime podiatrist in Marshall Browning Hospital's podiatry clinic, will now see patients on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday with evening appointments until 7 p.m., as well as every other Saturday.
Dickinson will move his clinic from the hospital’s specialty clinic to the hospital’s rural health clinic, Marshall Browning Medical Clinic, 900 N. Washington St. in Du Quoin, which is across the street from the hospital.
“Dr. Dickinson brings excellent experience to the medical clinic, especially on the wound care side,” CEO Dan Eaves said in a news release. “Marshall Browning Hospital continuously evaluates the availability of health care providers and services to meet our community’s needs. We are pleased to expand and grow services that are needed in our community.”
Dickinson earned his doctor of podiatric medicine from Des Moines University and completed a three-year residency at Jewish Hospital of Cincinnati, where he was chief resident. He is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and will perform surgery at Marshall Browning Hospital.
