The Jefferson County Historical Society is hosting a summertime celebration of a natural sweet: strawberries.
From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 25, the Historical Village will be open for tours, and strawberry-themed desserts will be available for purchase. There will also be a book and plant sale at the village.
All proceeds from the sales of strawberry desserts, books and plants will benefit the historical society.
You have free articles remaining.
Anyone who wants to donate books for the sale is asked to bring them to the historical society office from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. on weekdays.
The Jefferson County Historical Village is at 1411 N. 17th St. For more information, call the historical society office at 618-246-0033.
