The Sunset Concert Series continues with a show on the front steps of Shryock Auditorium on the Southern Illinois University Carbondale campus.

Soul pop artist Donovan Keith will perform beginning at 7 p.m.

Keith was the frontman of Soul Track Mind, which he founded in 2008. He is a native of the Midwest and is known for energetic performances of soul and R&B music.

Sunset Concerts are free and happen every Thursday through July 26. Attendees are welcome to bring food, beverages, grills and coolers. Only single-serve alcohol containers are allowed and no glass is allowed.

Here's the lineup for the rest of the series:

  • Thursday, July 5: Dos Santos, Latino psychedelic cumbia, at Turley Park
  • Thursday, July 12: Jungle Dogs, legendary Carbondale band playing world beat, at corner of Washington and Walnut streets
  • Thursday, July 19: Sheryl Youngblood, blues, at corner of Washington and Walnut streets
  • Thursday, July 26: The Band Be Easy, reggae, at Shryock
