After all, every show can't be renewed. However, that doesn't mean that some cancelations aren't a headscratcher, especially once you compare the ratings to series that are coming back. This season, series like The Passage, Life in Pieces, Star, and Murphy Brown had the viewers and the ratings in the key advertising demographic of adults 18-49, but networks still decided to axe them.
