Harrisburg High School has recognized Delaney Adams, Sarah Bittle, Morgan Douglas, Kirin Schlabitz, Jessica Schwartz and Micaylen Wolf for academic excellence.

Adams, 18, is 2014-2015 Girls Cutting Champion, 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 Reined Cowhorse State Champion and received Cowgirl Sportsmanship Award. She is FFA vice president and a member of National Honor Society, Illinois High School Rodeo, Key Club, FBLA, pep club and Mu Alpha Theta.

The daughter of Jeff Adams and Tracy Adams of Raleigh, she plans to major in psychology at Washington State University.

Bittle, 17, is 2016 Graduation Marshall, Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizenship winner, Wendy's High School Heisman School winner, homecoming queen, third in photography at Pope County 2016 Art Show, third in photography at Carmi 2016 Art Show and is a HHS student of the week. She is a member of Mu Alpha Theta, pep club, outdoor adventure club, White Hats, Key Club, student council, Scholar Bowl, Harrisburg First United Methodist Church Youth, volleyball, WYSE Team and Harrisburg Swim Team.

The daughter of Todd and Beth Bittle of Harrisburg, she plans to study biology at University of Illinois.

Douglas, 18, received a Regents Scholarship. She is a member of Youth For Christ, Cheerleader, National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta.

The daughter of Bridget and Nathan Douglas of Creal Springs, she plans to major in elementary and special education at Southeast Missouri State University.

Schlabitz, 17, is an Illinois State Scholar and on the honor roll. She is a member of National Honor Society, book club, chess club and historical society.

The daughter of Amy and Guido Schlabitz of Harrisburg, she plans to study anthropology at University of Illinois or Missouri State University.

Schwartz, 18, is a member of WYSE team, National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, White Hats, Key Club and Youth for Christ.

The daughter of Louis and Mona De Vous of Harrisburg, she plans to major in nursing at Lee University.

Wolf, 18, received WYSE team first place in regional biology, IHSA Speech Informative Speaking 10th place. She is a member of speech team, Key Club, pep club, student council, band, National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta and WYSE team.

The daughter of Melinda and Rod Wolf of Harrisburg, she plans to study biology.
