Carrier Mills-Stonefort High School has recognized Adriane Boaz, Kelsie Charley, Harley Cofield, Michael Parks, Megan Thomason and Breanna Wolf for academic excellence.

Boaz, 18, is on the honor roll and Wall of Fame. She is a member of Future Business Leaders of America and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

The daughter of Chrystal Norris of Carrier Mills, she plans to study nursing at Southeastern Illinois College.

Charley, 18, is on the honor roll and Wall of Fame. She is a member of student council, WYSE team, FBLA, volleyball team and Scholar Bowl.

The daughter of Audie Taborn of Carrier Mills, she plans to major in pharmacy at Southeastern Illinois College.

Cofield, 18, is on the Wall of Fame and honor roll and is a member of Phi Theta Kappa.

The son of the late Harley and Lucy Cofield of Carrier Mills, he plans to study mathematics and science secondary education at Harvard College.

Parks, 17, is on the Wall of Fame and honor roll. He is a member of WYSE, basketball and bass fishing teams and FBLA.

The son of Michael Shayne and Veronica Parks of Carrier Mills, he plans to attend Southeastern Illinois College.

Thomason, 18, is on the Wall of Fame and honor roll. She is a member of volleyball and softball teams, cheerleading squad and student council

The daughter of Brad and Beth Thomason of Carrier Mills, she plans to attend Southeastern Illinois College.

Wolf, 19, is on the Wall of Fame and honor roll.

The daughter of Robert Wolf and the late Nancy Wolf, she plans to attend Southeastern Illinois College.

Commencement will be at 7 p.m. May 17 on the front lawn of the high school.
