Egyptian High School has recognized Olivia Khourie, Makensie Morgan, Kimalee Story and Kimber White for academic excellence.

Khourie, 18, received Student of the Year, Spanish, English, Future Career and Community Leaders of America and science awards. She is a member of Beta Club, student council and Bullying Awareness Group.

The daughter of Amanda Everly of Villa Ridge, she plans to study nursing at Shawnee Community College.

Morgan, 17, received student of the month and English, sociology, Spanish, science and history awards. She is a member of student council, Beta Club, FCCLA and Future Farmers of America, Spanish and photography clubs and choir.

The daughter of Jared and Tanda Vaughn of Olive Branch, she plans to study at Shawnee Community College.

Story, 18, received Spanish, psychology, math and science awards. She is a member of Beta Club, Future Farmers of America, student council, volleyball, softball and cheerleading.

The daughter of Mike and Tara Story of Thebes, she plans to major in education at Shawnee Community College.

White, 18, is student of the month, president of Beta Club, received English, math, science and history awards. She is a member of FCCLA, student council, science and photography clubs, volleyball, basketball and yearbook.

The daughter of Bobby and Sheri White of Thebes, she plans to study nursing at shawnee community college.

Commencement will be at 7 p.m. May 13 in the high school gymnasium.
