2016 Honors: Herrin High School

Herrin High School has selected Tucker Dickerson, Bailee Endebrock, Madison LeQuatte, Marlee Russell, Austin Stallman and Madeline Stanley for honors.

Dickerson, 17, was honored for outstanding academics. He is an Illinois State Scholar and Rotary Club Student of the Month. He is a member of National Honor Society, Scholar Bowl, Future Business Leaders of America and the math, WYSE and cross country teams.

The son of Leanne Needham of Herrin, he plans to major in actuarial studies at Southeast Missouri State University.

Endebrock, 18, was honored for music and community service and received FBLA regional and state awards. She is a member of National Honor Society, student government, Scholar Bowl, French Scholar Bowl and math team.

The daughter of Kurt and Lisa Endebrock of Carterville, she plans to study musical theater at University of Cincinnati.

LeQuatte, 18, was honored for academics and community service. She is an Illinois State Scholar and an Academic All American Athlete. She is a member of National Honor Society, WYSE, student government, math team, Teen Safe Driving, FBLA and the basketball and volleyball teams.

The daughter of Chad and Lorie LeQuatte of Herrin, she plans to study pre-medicine and biomedical engineering.

Russell, 17, was honored by academics and leadership. She is an Illinois State Scholar and member of National Honor Society, student government, band and Scholar Bowl.

The daughter of Ed and Melissa Russell of Herrin, she plans to major in business administration and business law at Southeast Missouri State University.

Stallman, 18, was honored for academics and leadership. He is an Eagle Scout, Illinois State Scholar and FBLA qualifier, and received first in 3D CAD modeling and second in algebra on state written test. He is a member of math, drafting, Scholar Bowl and WYSE teams, National Honor Society, Boy Scouts, FBLA and youth ministry.

The son of Adam and Susan Stallman of Herrin, He plans to study electrical engineering at SIUC.

Stanley, 17, was honored for leadership and community service. She is a member of National Honor Society, Scholar Bowl, French Scholar Bowl, student government and FBLA.

The daughter of Rob and Michaelann Stanley of Johnston City, she plans to major in pediatric nursing at SIU Edwardsville.

Commencement will be at 5 p.m. May 14 in Memorial Gym.
