Change the taste of this basic dressing with different vinegars and the addition of fresh (1 tablespoons) or dried (1 teaspoon) herbs.

Ingredients
1¼ cups vegetable oil
⅓ cup sherry vinegar
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon white pepper
Directions
Combine all of the ingredients in a blender with ½ cup water and blend until smooth. Pour into a mason jar, seal, and refrigerate.
