The body of fallen soldier Sgt. Holli Bolinski will return to Scott Air Force Base at 2 p.m. Monday and a procession will escort her to Pyatt Funeral Home in Pinckneyville. They are expected to travel Interstate 64 east to Illinois 127, then on to the funeral home. 

Bolinski, 37, of Pinckneyville, and fellow Army reservist Spc. Jackson D. Johnson, 20, of Hillsboro, Missouri, were killed March 5 while serving in Kuwait. 

Larry “The Flagman” Echhardt asks anyone willing to help place flags in tribute to Bolinski meet at 2 p.m. Sunday in the parking lot of Pinckneyville Knights of Columbus Hall at 312 N. Gordon St.

Funeral arrangements for Bolinski were announced Monday afternoon by Pyatt Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 8 to 9:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Bruno Catholic Church in Pinckneyville. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will be in St. Bruno Catholic Cemetery.
