April 9

Clent E. Long, 1008 Chestnut St., Johnston City, was found guilty of meth precursor without a prescription and sentenced to 18 months in prison. Court costs were imposed and vacated.

Katlyn Mathews, 115 East Clara St., No. 3, Golconda, was found guilty of retail theft and sentenced to 6 months court supervision and fined.

Joshua K. Jessie, 1313 W. Main St., Marion, was found guilty of domestic battery and sentenced to 3 days in jail, 12 months probation, fined and was ordered to have no contact with victim.

April 10

Darrell G. Beasley, 14201 Bandyville Road, Herrin, was found guilty of two charges of aggravated driving while under the influence of alcohol. He was sentenced to three years in prison and ordered to pay court costs, make restitution and undergo medical/mental evaluation and alcohol/substance abuse treatment.

April 14

Brittany D. Barton, 619 S. Virginia St., Marion was found guilty of retail theft. She was sentenced to nine days in jail, 30 months probation, and ordered to pay a fine plus costs and fees.

Ryne Joseph Sasso, 1004 Grand Ave., Johnston City was found guilty of robbery and was sentenced to four years in prison. Court costs were imposed and vacated.


April 9

Timothy M. Semon, 216 N. Park St., Hurst was found guilty of possession of firearm without requisite firearm owners ID card and sentenced to 12 months court supervision. Is not to leave the State of Ill. Also pay $150 fine plus costs and surcharges, $75 VCV, and $10 crime-stoppers fee. Shall pay $100 per month starting 30 days from plea.

April 13

Emily Ann Albright, 1277 Winery Road, West Frankfort, was found guilty of reckless conduct. She was sentenced to 12 months conditional discharge, fined, ordered to pay costs and fees, and must complete alcohol and substance abuse evaluation.


April 14

Casey M. Ward, Marion pleaded guilty to DUI. He was sentenced to 12 months court supervision and fined.
