A Jackson County juvenile was arrested in Harrisburg after a reported armed robbery.

A news release from the Harrisburg Police Department said that officers responded to a call at about 2:22 p.m. Wednesday — the call said the incident occurred outside a business in the 300 block of Commercial Street.

After arriving on the scene, the victim told officers the suspect left the scene in a vehicle. After being provided identifying information of the vehicle, officers then located it and conducted a traffic stop, leading to the arrest of an unnamed 16-year-old from Jackson county.
