A Jacob man has been sentenced to three years in state prison for violating the conditions of his probation in cases involving burglary and meth charges, according to a news release from Jackson County State’s Attorney Michael Carr.

Brad A. Gale, 38, was charged with methamphetamine possession during an Oct. 7, 2018, incident during which he was found in possession of less than five grams of a substance containing methamphetamine, the release stated. Gale’s Burglary charge arose out of a Jan. 4 incident during which he broke into a motor vehicle on Edith Street in Murphysboro and was later found in possession of property stolen from that vehicle.

The release says Gale was placed on probation for these offenses in early 2019. His probation was revoked, and Gale was sentenced because of his failure to comply with several conditions of the probation orders entered in those cases.
