A Meredosia man was given a three-year sentence for stealing from a car parked outside of a Marion hotel.
According to a news release from Williamson County top prosecutor Brandon Zanotti, Braylen Rodriguez, 21, in January 2018 stole from a vehicle parked outside of the Econo Lodge motel in Marion. He was charged with a Class 2 felony of burglary.
Rodriguez was initially placed in the First Offender Initiative Program in April, but failed to meet the terms of the program, Zanotti said. Rodriguez was then sentenced for the burglary charge.
Rodriguez also will serve one year of mandatory supervised release after he gets out of prison.
