An Eldorado man has been convicted of an enhanced charge of domestic battery.
According to a news release from Saline County State’s Attorney Jayson Clark, Daniel M. Curry, 44, was convicted Thursday. The charge stemmed from Curry pushing a woman into a ditch and injuring her.
The release says the charge is a Class 4 felony and has been enhanced because he has a previous conviction of aggravated battery. This increases his sentencing range from one to three years to one to six years in the Illinois Department of Corrections.
Curry will be be sentenced by Judge Walden E. Morris on Aug. 21, 2018.
