Six people have been sentenced to the Illinois Department of Corrections out of Union County Court.

A news release from Union County State’s Attorney Tyler Edmonds listed the following sentences Thursday.

Jonathan Scott Cruse, of Anna, was sentenced to five years in IDOC after pleading guilty to one count of unlawful possession of methamphetamine, a Class 3 felony. He will also serve one year of mandatory supervised release.

Matthew Paul Wettig, of Anna, was sentenced to three years in the IDOC after pleading guilty to one count of unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon, a Class 2 felony, and will also serve two years of mandatory supervised release.

Joshua Brent Baker, of Anna, was sentenced to six years in the IDOC after pleading guilty to one count of unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon, a Class 2 felony, and will serve three years of mandatory supervised release. The release says Baker was sentenced as a Class X offender because of his criminal history.

Bethany M. Hurt, of Carbondale, has been sentenced to two years in the IDOC after pleading guilty to possession of methamphetamine, a Class 3 felony, and will serve one year of mandatory supervised release.

Tanesa R. Taylor, of Carbondale, was sentenced to two years in the IDOC after pleading guilty to one count of identity theft, a Class 3 felony. She will also serve one year of mandatory supervised release.

Robert Wayne Roach, of Anna, will serve one year in the IDOC after pleading guilty to two counts of retail theft, a Class 4 felony and two years of mandatory supervised release.
