Frankfort Community High School will again have heightened security Tuesday after Community Unit School District No. 168 administration received another report about a statement written on a restroom wall at the high school.
School officials this past Friday heightened security after suspicious graffiti was found in a bathroom in the high school.
In a Monday afternoon statement, Superintendent Matt Donkin said FCHS administrators, West Frankfort Police officers and the school's resource officer continue to investigate and inspect the high school. Donkin said along with the school's regular security procedures, there will be a heightened law enforcement presence on the high school campus Tuesday. He said the district continues to adjust its security efforts daily.
Donkin was clear that school will be in session Tuesday.
