MARION — Aaron Thomas, 30, unexpectedly passed away in a motor vehicle accident at 12:10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, 2019.
He was born Dec. 3, 1988.
He attended School in Marion through the 8th grade, then transferred to West Frankfort. He graduated in 2007. He received a wresting scholarship to attend Mckendree University.

He was a remarkable son, loving brother, treasured uncle and devoted friend. He was a kind-hearted soul with a contagious smile, and a talented athlete with many accomplishments who received several awards.
He will be remembered by his mother, Tina Wall (Jason Boatright); twin brother, Austin Tyler; sisters, Amber Leigh, Amilia Lyn (Nic Swinkunas) and Addison Brooke; nephew, Kaden Thomas; nieces, Amaya and Avery Lu; uncles, Tom Johnston (Joni), Joe Johnston (Kimberly), Tim Johnston (Heather); special relatives, Brent Wall (Dana), April, Journey, Charlie and Karissa. He also left behind several cousins and friends.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of services beginning at 3 p.m. at Parker-Reedy Funeral Home in West Frankfort, with Brother Karl Barnfield officiating. Interment will immediately follow with final resting place in Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion. Family and friends are invited to join in celebration of life at 5 p.m. at the American Legion in Marion.
