ULLIN — Betty Jean (Campbell) Miller, 94, passed away at 8:25 a.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2018, in Southgate Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Metropolis.
Betty was born May 18, 1924, in Elco, daughter of the late John and Etta (McCrite) Campbell.
Betty was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ullin. She was a housewife and homemaker, and former bookkeeper for the Ullin Body Shop.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Raymond “Chuck” Miller Jr.; two daughters, Charla Beth Miller and Phyllis Brown; four brothers and five sisters.
Survivors include a son, Roger (Lisa) Miller of Grand Chain; grandchildren, Beth (Jerald “Boobie”) Windings, Myndi (Randy) Duke, Matthew (Melissa) Miller, Katie Miller, and Libbie (Nathan) Pfaff; great-grandchildren, Jacob Windings, Aaron, Hunter, and Hannah Duke, and Madison, Melaina, and Mason Miller; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Ullin where funeral services will begin at noon, with Pastor Clint Nale officiating. Interment will follow in the Jonesboro City Cemetery in Jonesboro.
