CARBONDALE — Donna (Daniels) Howington, 59, passed away peacefully at home (following a lengthy battle with cancer) Dec. 3, 2018, surrounded by family.
Born April 30, 1959, in Chicago, and raised in Carbondale, she moved to Southern California in the early 1980s, where she studied and excelled at the Meisner School of Acting. A Monrovia, California, resident the past 25 years, she and her husband raised two sons there, in the enclave she loved. Her many talents included acting, writing, and music. An incredibly loving mother and devoted wife, her generosity and sense of humor will be greatly missed. In the words of her family, "A rare and delicate flower, yet she was so brave, never giving up hope. We were all blessed to have known and loved her."
Donna is survived by her husband of 32 years, Mick Howington; sons, Nathan and Cole Howington; parents, Ken and Nancy Daniels; brother, Ken Jr., and an extended loved and loving family.
Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, in Douglass and Zook, 600 E. Foothill Blvd., Monrovia, California.
