ANNA — Earl Noble, 61, passed away at 1:35 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at his home.

Earl was born June 7, 1955, in Anna, the son of Donald Richard and Carolyn Yvonne (Isom) Noble Sr.

He married Jo Vonna Hemby on Jan. 8, 1977. They had just celebrated 40 years of marriage together as spouses, partners and friends.

He worked for over 30 years as a copier technician in Southern Illinois and the Paducah, Kentucky, area. He enjoyed fishing, but golf and football were his passions. His pride and joy were his sons, Dylan and Austin. Earl loved watching his sons participate in sports and coached them for several years. He enjoyed seeing them grow up to be wonderful, fine young men.

Earl is survived by his wife of 40 years, Jo Vonna Noble of Anna; sons, Dylan Noble of Paducah, and Austin Noble of Edwardsville; Richard (Linda) Noble of Bettendorf, Iowa; niece, Katie Noble of Bettendorf, Iowa; uncle, Gary (Brenda) Noble of Jonesboro; cousin, Sue Ann (Jack) Zimmerman of Anna; and other friends and relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sherry Mitchell.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today, March 23, and from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 25, at Crain Funeral Home in Anna-Jonesboro.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 25, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Alan Rhein officiating. Interment will follow in Anna City Cemetery.
