OLMSTED — Eric Paul Schnaare, 41, of Littleton, Colorado, formerly of Olmsted, passed away Friday, May 15, 2015, in Lakewood, Colorado.
He was born Jan. 22, 1974, in Sikeston, Missouri, the son of Larry G. Schnaare Sr. and Victoria (Hinkle) Schnaare.
Eric was a boilermaker with Union Local 663 and a former member of Olmsted Volunteer Fire Department.

Survivors include his children, Lindsey Grace Smith of Vancouver, Washington, and Cheyenne and Erika Schnaare, both of Belleville; father and stepmother, Larry G. Schnaare Sr. and Joyce Schnaare, and mother and stepfather, Victoria "Vicky" and Bruce Sauerbrunn, all of Olmsted; two brothers, Larry G. (Noellia) Schnaare Jr. of Littleton, Colorado, and Andrew (Sherry) Schnaare of Olmsted; sister, Michelle (Keith) Hannan of Olmsted; stepbrother and stepsisters, Roger (Angie) Weiss of St. Louis, Autumn (Colby) Stellhorn of Troy and Erik Weiss of Peoria; maternal grandmother, Alma Robertson of Olmsted; a host of aunts, uncles and cousins; and many friends.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 23, in Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge with the Rev. Scott Kelley officiating. Interment will follow in the Masonic Cemetery in Grand Chain. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 22, at the funeral home.
