MARION — James K. Wattleworth, 76, of Marion, formerly of Olney, passed away Monday, Dec. 31, 2018, in The Anchor in Marion.
Jim was born on April 14, 1942, in Indianapolis, Indiana, the son of Dr. Kent Lincoln and Dorothy Jean (Hine) Wattleworth.
Jim was retired from Southern Fastening Systems and was known as the “Nail Guy.” He formerly owned and operated Ole Jim's TV and Appliance. He also had a bachelor of science in education from Southern Illinois University.
Jim is survived by his sons, Brad (MaryAnne) Wattleworth and Brian (Coleen) Wattleworth; five grandchildren, Whitney (Brad) Buck, Mitchell (Shelbi) Wattleworth, Brett, Mason, and Ethan Wattleworth; three great-grandchildren, Brinkley and Natalia Buck and Vivian Wattleworth; brother, Michael (Maria) Wattleworth; and sister-in-law, Becky Wattleworth. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert Wattleworth; and an aunt, Shirley Lefler.
A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019, in Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney, with a visitation beginning one hour prior. Burial will follow in Crest Haven Memorial Park.
