GOREVILLE — Larry Ray Yarbor, 73, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2018, in Heartland Regional Medical Center.

Larry was born March 15, 1945, in Keensburg, to Raymond and Minnie (Peach) Yarbor.

He married Elza Mae Girtman on May 27, 1964, in Rochester.

Larry was the Worshipful Master of Saline Masonic Lodge 339 on several occasions and through the chairs. He volunteered at Lake of Egypt Fire Department for many years. Larry was an avid car collector and loved Studebakers. He enjoyed farming and gardening and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include wife, Elza Mae Yarbor of Goreville; daughters, Candice Yarbor-McCurdy of Goreville, Misty Yarbor-Bartlett and husband, David Bartlett of Goreville; grandchildren, Dakodah McCurdy, Zachary McCurdy, Dustin Rees, Echo Rees and Ezra Rees; sisters, Sue Schuetz of South Haven, Mississippi, Linda Sanders of Rogersville, Missouri; brother, Douglas and Stacy Yarbor of O’Dessa, Texas; and mother, Minnie Yarbor-Dossett of South Haven, Mississippi.

He was preceded in death by his father; brother-in-law, Carl Schuetz; grandparents; and son-in-law, Duane Rees.

Services will be at noon Friday, June 22, in Blue Funeral Home in Goreville, with the Rev. R.G. Null officiating. Burial will follow in Cana Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Friday at the funeral home, with Masonic Rites being performed at noon.
