COBDEN — Mary Elizabeth Landreth Winn, 95, died Tuesday, March 12, 2019, in the Union County Hospital in Anna.
She was born May 30, 1923, in Cobden, the daughter of Floyd F. Sr. and Esther (Aldridge) Landreth.
She married the love of her life, Carl Lee Winn on June 4, 1949, in Jonesboro. He preceded her in death on March 9, 2009.
Mary is survived by sister-in-law, Deloris Landreth of Jonesboro; nieces Carolyn (George) Sauer, Marcia (Bob) Moore, Pam (Rick) Castrey, Linda (Jay) Pickett, Charlotte (Doug) Clover, Karen (Steve) Shakiba, and Shirley Major; nephew, Steve (Patty) Landreth; several great and great-great-nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl Lee Winn; three brothers, Stanley, Dorris, and Floyd Landreth Jr.
Mary worked 35 years for the Florshiem Shoe Factory until her retirement in 1980.
Mary was a lifetime member of the Walnut Grove United Methodist Church.
Mary loved to garden, go fishing, and spend time with her family and church family and will be dearly missed by everyone.
Services will be at noon Saturday, March 16, in Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Cobden, with Pastor Bobbie Shultz officiating. Interment will be in Anna Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the service hour at noon Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Walnut Grove United Methodist Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
