In the words of the family, "We are so incredibly thankful to all of the staff at STL Children's hospital. Everyone from the doctors, to the nurses to all the support staff were nothing but wonderful to our family and to our children. Although the NICU is a place you never want to spend an entire year, I can't imagine not ever meeting some of the amazing people that we came into contact with. We are incredibly grateful for the work they did for our children along with the love and care that they always showed us. We would not be where we are without them and we will always hold a special place in our hearts for the many people who work there and touched our lives.
We cannot say thank you enough to the community. On our hardest days knowing we had an entire community rallying behind us and holding us up was truly inspiring. We are so humbled by the support that we received. The people in this area have a way of rallying behind people in need and to be on the receiving end of that was an experience that we will always cherish. The love that was shown to us was incredible and we will forever be grateful for it."
