CARBONDALE — Sue Carolyn Bahr, 88, of Jackson, Missouri, formerly of Carbondale, passed away peacefully Monday Dec. 2, 2019, in Monticello House in Jackson, Missouri, surrounded by her family.
Sue was born Nov. 20, 1931, in Carbondale, the daughter of the late William Lloyd and Helen Irene (McLaughlin) Troutt.
She was united in marriage to Thomas Everett Bahr in 1954. Tom preceded her in death Oct. 30, 1993. They shared more than 39 years of marriage.
She is survived by her children, Larry Bahr, Melissa Stahr and Sarah Driver; grandchildren, Christopher and Kegan Driver, Amber Thorne and Jason and Valerie Bahr; brother, William Troutt; and five great-grandchildren.

Sue is preceded in death by her parents, William and Helen Troutt; husband, Thomas Bahr; sister, Hanna Troutt Parsons.
Graveside services will be at 9 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, in Oakland Cemetery, with the Reverend Sidney Logwood officiating.
