PINCKNEYVILLE — Linda Huggins, 80, passed away Dec. 2, 2018, in Springfield, Missouri.
She was born July 6, 1938, in Pinckneyville, to Clementine and Clarence Preston.
She married James Huggins of Du Quoin, in 1955.
Linda was a homemaker and enjoyed her home and decorating her home.
She enjoyed her grandchildren, her great-grandchildren, her friends, her church and her Sunday School class very much.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and her brother, Gene Preston of Sparta.
She is survived by her two daughters, Dorice Gualdoni (husband, Andy) of Johnson City, and Cathy Kim Miller (husband, James) of Nixa, Missouri; grandsons, Luca and Nicolai, Josh Miller, Chris Miller (wife, Sally); a great-granddaughter, Ollie; and nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 7, in Mueller Hill Cemetery, in Pinckneyville.
ANNA - Dr. Jean P. Jones, 95, died Monday, Dec. 3, 2018, in the Capetown Assisted Living.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, in Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna. Interment is in the Casper Cemetery near Anna. Graveside military rites will be conducted by the Carroll P. Foster Post 3455 of the VFW in Anna and the Illinois Army National Guard Military Honor Team of Marion. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. and until the service hour at 11 a.m. Saturday.

VALIER — Dale Ann Braden, 62, of Valier, passed away Dec. 1, 2018.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018, at noon at the Gilbert Funeral Home in Christopher, with the Rev. Daniel Ison officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at noon. Burial will be at Maple Hill Cemetery in Sesser.

PERCY — Rayburn “Ray” Brockmeyer, 73, of Percy, passed away at 12:15 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, 2018, at the Three Springs Lodge in Chester.
Arrangements are pending at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville.
BELLEVILLE — Jane Lea Emig died.
She was preceded by husband, James Emig; and parents, Cecil C. and Clarice (Hunt) Schaubert; and survived by daughter, Virginia “Ginni K” Emig;
sister, Pamela “Pam” (Rick) Rose; and companion, Gary Thies.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Dec. 5 at George Renner and Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, and 9 to 11 a.m. Dec. 6 at Signal Hill Lutheran Church, Belleville. Funeral at 11 a.m. in church.

HURST — Beverly Ann Sloan, 68, of Hurst, passed away at 8:33 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, 2018, in Herrin Hospital with her loving family by her side.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, 2018, in Jubilee Tabernacle, 301 E. Washington St. in De Soto, with the Rev. Danny Norman officiating. Interment will follow in Hallidayboro Cemetery near Elkville. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the church.

MURPHYSBORO — Ronald Hunter, 71, of Murphysboro, passed away Sunday, Dec. 2, 2018, at his home.
He was born May 3, 1947, to Lester and Vieanna (Summers) Hunter in Murphysboro.
On Jan. 12, 1971, Ronald married Janet Brantley. They shared 47 years of marriage.
Ronald proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.
He worked for various tech jobs, having worked for SIU for the last two years.
He is a member of American Legion Post 127, Amateur Ham Radio Operation WA9GYH and DAV.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Janet Hunter, of Murphysboro; two daughters, Kristina Prudencio, of Murphysboro, and Stacey (Ryan) Brooks, of Abileen, Texas; a grandson, Jonathan Prudencio, of Murphysboro; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Carole Lynn Smith.
Funeral services for Ronald Hunter will be Thursday, Dec. 6, 2018, at 1 p.m. in Crain Pleasant Grove-Murdale Funeral Home, with the Rev. Shaker Samuel officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Memorial Park. Military Honors will be accorded.

PINCKNEYVILLE — Janet M. Davis, 73, of Pinckneyville, passed away peacefully Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018, at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis.
Visitation is Thursday, Dec. 6, 2018, from 4 to 8 p.m., and Friday, Dec. 7, 2018, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Calvary Church, 1509 Melmar Drive, Sparta. Funeral services will begin Friday at 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow at Percy City Cemetery.
