MARION — Pamela J. McCormick-Boomer, 73, passed away Thursday, Dec. 5, 2019, in Helia Healthcare in Energy.
Pamela was born Sept. 23, 1946, in Carbondale to Guy and Dorothy (Springhart) Carter.
She married James McCormick and he preceded her in death, and then she married Bill Boomer and he also preceded her in death.
Pamela worked as an X-ray clerk at Marion Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include daughters, Bobbie and Rodney Emery and Julie and Jimmy Beasley, all of Marion; sister, Chris and James Grant of Marion; grandchildren, Evan Emery, Dustin Emery, Devin Beasley and Erin Tite; great-granddaughter, Aliah Tite; nieces, Lindsay Robinson and Natalie Dobbs.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husbands, James and Bill.
A memorial service will be at 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 9, in Blue Funeral Home in Marion, with the Rev. Steve Glenn officiating. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the time of services Monday.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Marion High School Strive Program and will be accepted at the funeral home.
