HAMILTON COUNTY — Felony charges have been filed against the driver in a crash that killed five people in Hamilton County last month.

Darrell G. Delong, 49, is charged with five counts of aggravated driving under the influence and one count of reckless homicide, Hamilton County State’s Attorney Justin Hood said.

Delong is the sole survivor of the Nov. 23rd crash that resulted in the deaths of Robert L. Parker, 49, Lori S. Parker, 42, Tammy A. Delong, 35, and Katelynn Fancher, 16, all of Collinsville; and Diana N. Wright, 23, of McLeansboro.

The crash occurred around 10:24 p.m. on Hamilton County Road 750 East, also known as Anderson School Road, about three-tenths of a mile north of Hamilton County Road 1000 North, police said.
