Logan's Scrubb suspended indefinitely

John A. Logan College’s Jay Scrubb, the Street and Smith’s JUCO Preseason Player of the Year, has been suspended indefinitely.

Volunteers head coach Kyle Smithpeters said Scrubb returned to campus late after Thanksgiving break. Scubb, who is averaging 25 points per game, has missed one game due to the suspension.

“I decided to leave it open-ended,” Smithpeters said. “He’s still in school. He will be back.”

Scrubb, a Louisville native, has already committed to play at the University of Louisville.
