The threat of Winter Storm Gia Friday resulted in many schools either moving up starting times or postponing games entirely.
Games that were postponed with a makeup date are as follows:
Edwards County at Eldorado, Feb. 9.
Althoff at Carbondale, Feb. 5.
Sparta at Anna-Jonesboro, Feb. 5.
Marion at Centralia, Jan. 22.

Chester athletic director Jeremy Blechle said on Twitter that a decision on whether to play the championship round of the school’s invitational tournament would be made Saturday morning. The Yellow Jackets and Cobden are scheduled to play in the title game at 7 p.m.
Also, Carbondale’s trip to Cahokia for girls basketball Saturday was postponed to a later date. Murphysboro’s girls basketball visit to Metro-East Lutheran Saturday has been canceled.
Carmi-White County canceled its wrestling tournament for Saturday, and Murphysboro’s dual match at Vandalia on Saturday has been canceled.
